1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting Chat AI to your server or interacting with its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Chat AI development team.

2. User Conduct & Compliance

To ensure a safe environment, users must adhere to the following obligations:

• Legal Compliance: Use of the bot for any illegal activities or in violation of Discord's Terms of Service is strictly prohibited.
• Ethical Engagement: Users must interact with the AI for legitimate purposes (Learning, Utility, Entertainment). Harassment, hate speech, or defamatory content generation is not tolerated.
• Input Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the prompts provided to the AI and how you utilize the generated outputs.

3. Privacy & Data Handling

Our commitment to your privacy is paramount:

• Interactions are processed to refine AI contextual understanding but are never sold to third parties.
• We implement end-to-end industry-standard encryption for all stored configurations.
• Users maintain the right to request data deletion via our official support channels.

4. Memory System & Data Retention

To enhance your conversational experience, Chat AI uses a temporary memory system that stores your messages according to your subscription plan:

• Free Plan: Conversation memory is retained for up to 5 hours, then permanently and automatically deleted.
• Premium Plan: Conversation memory is retained for up to 24 hours, then permanently and automatically deleted.
• No manual intervention: Deletion is fully automatic — we cannot access, review, or recover your data after it has been erased.
• Post-deletion: Once deleted, the bot has no memory of previous interactions and cannot retrieve them under any circumstances.
• Opt-out right: You have the full right to contact us at any time to request a permanent exemption from memory storage. This will disable conversation memory for your account entirely.
• Implied consent: By using Chat AI, you acknowledge and agree to this temporary storage policy as described above.

Since automatic deletion occurs daily (Premium) or every 5 hours (Free), there is no need to manually request deletion — your data is already scheduled for removal.

5. Prohibited Actions

Engagement in any of the following may result in an immediate permanent ban from Chat AI services:

• Generating explicit (NSFW), violent, or harmful content.
• Attempting to "jailbreak" or bypass AI safety filters.
• Automated "Spamming" of commands to overload bot resources.
• Infringing upon intellectual property rights through AI outputs.
